Membership

Pony Club membership is open to Juniors (under 17 years); associates (over 17 and under 25 years); and senior members (25 and over). Juniors cannot join unless accompanied by at least one parent/guardian who must also be a club member. Membership fees are determined at the club's Annual General Meeting in December each year and include fees for affiliation to the Pony Club Association of NSW., Zone 26 and the club’s administration fee. PCA NSW affiliation includes compulsory, but limited, insurance cover for members whilst they are participating in pony club activities.

The membership year runs from January to December and riders must be affiliated to compete.

Membership Fees

The LPPC fee schedule can be provided by a committee member. NSW Pony Club Association affiliation fees are very important and include your Pony Club insurance. Please note that your insurance is limited to Pony Club activities after you have been gear checked, and includes third party and public liability cover for the club. Details of the cover can be found on the PCA NSW web site. Zone affiliation fees cover the co-ordination and support activities we enjoy in Zone 26.

Registration Day

Registration Day is usually late January / early February and is horse free. This saves time on the first Rally Day and means our Committee and instructors can focus on our members.

Fees need to be paid in advance, during December, if members are intending to compete in pony club events during January.

At a later date riders will be issued with grading cards for the various disciplines such as: Showjumping, Cross-Country, Dressage. Points towards grades are generally issued to first to fifth placed-horse-rider combinations at pony club events. If aiming for State or higher level in the future, grading cards and attendance records must be maintained.
